Millinery

Prescott & Mackay tailor the content of millinery class to fit individual requirements and expertise. Our tutors Dan Sorensen and Sara Grundy have been assistants to Stephen Jones - one of the world’s most important milliners of the late 20th and early 21st centuries - for many years. No matter you are a beginner or looking for more advanced tuition, you will get full attention in class.

We have two courses for you to choose. In the Two-Day Blocked Hat Millinery Course you will learn blocking, shaping, trimming and finishing skills and bring home your own felt (or straw,synamay) hat. In the One-Day Cocktail Hat Course you will learn decorative techniques to make wonderful effects, and create a hat or fansinator fit for the most stylish and special occasions.
